Eligibility:

Only clients of Happy HR can nominate their employee and it is not open to employers outside of Happy HR.

Selection committee:

The HR team at Happy HR are responsible for reviewing nominations and selecting the Employee of the Year. Nominate your employee for employee of the year awards.

Here are key factors that the team at Happy HR will consider for the nomination.

Quality of work:

Assess the accuracy, thoroughness, and effectiveness of the employee’s work.

Productivity:

Evaluate the ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals efficiently.

Technical skills:

Consider the proficiency in job-specific skills required for the role.

Soft skills:

Assess interpersonal skills, communication, adaptability, and teamwork.

Consistency:

Evaluate the employee’s ability to consistently deliver results.

Problem-solving:

Assess the ability to identify and address challenges independently.

Innovation:

Consider contributions to process improvement and innovation.

Flexibility:

Evaluate how well the employee adapts to changing situations and requirements.

Openness to learning:

Assess the willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.

Teamwork:

Assess the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Conflict resolution:

Consider how well the employee handles conflicts within the team.

Initiative:

Evaluate the willingness to take on leadership roles or additional responsibilities.

Motivation:

Assess the drive to exceed expectations and achieve personal and team goals.

Integrity:

Consider adherence to ethical standards and honesty in all dealings.

Respect:

Assess how the employee treats colleagues, clients, and superiors.

Alignment with values:

Evaluate if the employee’s values align with the organization’s values.

Company culture:

Consider how well the employee integrates into the workplace culture.

All finalists will be interviewed, and a winner based on the above criteria will be chosen as the winner.

Communication:

Employee of the Year will be communicated to the organisation, on our social channels. This will also involve a formal online ceremony.

Disqualification criteria:

Anyone guilty of a criminal offence or other will be disqualified under ethical violations, performance issues, or other relevant factors.

Confidentiality:

All nominations are confidential and not shared with any 3rd party.

Appeals process:

Add decisions are final.
