Learning terms

1. Parties

These terms are between Happy HR Pty Ltd trading as Happy HR (Happy HR/we/us/our) and the Client Employer (you/your) and specify the terms upon which Happy HR will provide services to you unless new Terms and Conditions are notified to you in writing.

2. Acceptance of terms and conditions

You will be taken to have accepted these Terms and Conditions once you have purchase them via the learning page on our website.

3. Payment Obligations

No charge for company admins to set up.

Featured free content

$4.00+GST for access to everything public including learning library per employee that is “current status”, cancel anytime.
If a user is active during the given billing period they will be charged.
Once a user is disabled/deactivated they will not be charged in the subsequent billing period.

For course library courses – Featured paid provider – Channel 1

For any course that’s added to an employees file, a fee of $4.00+GST is charged for access to a course, you can cancel anytime.
If a user is active for a course from the course library during the given billing period they will be charged.
Once a user is disabled/deactivated they will not be charged in the subsequent billing period.

For course library courses – Featured paid provider – (My Brand, How too, Wyzed, Raise the bar, Sentrient)

For any course that’s added to an employees file, a fee (by request) is charged for access to a course, and a 12 month fee will be payable per user.
If a user has been provided a course from the above providers library during the given billing period they will be charged for a 12 month period.

4. Upgrade/downgrade

You can add and or remove users via the learning users page on our website at any time, but if you are in an accredited plan these charges remain for the contract period.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel access to the learning platform anytime. Should a payment fall within this cancellation period it is payable.

6. Set up

By purchasing access to our learning platform DOES NOT cover set up of your learning system.

Should you need set up assistance this can be quoted to you. Please note work is not commenced until set up invoice is paid in full.

7. Support

Should you require general technical support for your learning platform client is support that is included in the HRIS terms, this is 15 minutes per month.

Should your enquiry involve more support, it will carry a fee of $200.00+GST per hour. Learning assistance will be quoted to you before commencement.

8. Collection of Information

To provide you with our service we may require information from you to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly regarding sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Happy HR is collected via correspondence from you or your company.

This may be via the telephone, Email, mail, fax or directly through our website.

9. Use of collection Information

Any details collected from Happy HR customers is required to provide you with our products and/or services, and a high level of customer service.

Correspondence is recorded to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development.

10. Storage of Collected Information

The security of your personal information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

11. Support for our Payroll Platform

Support is available from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Priority 1 – Major issues: Call back within 4 hours.
Priority 2 – New requests or non-critical issues: Call back within 24 hours.

12. Orders

If you purchase a product or service from us, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. This may include contact information such as your name, email address, and postal address, as well as financial information such as your credit card details and expiration date.

We use this information solely for billing purposes and to process your orders. If we experience any issues processing your order, we will use this information to contact you.

13. Communications

Happy HR uses personally identifiable information to provide essential communications, including account information, service updates, invoices, and other important notifications.

We may also use this information to send promotional communications. If you no longer wish to receive promotional emails, you may request to be removed from our mailing list by emailing us at help@happyhr.com.

14. Confidentiality

All business information disclosed or discussed between the parties, whether identified as confidential or otherwise, remains the intellectual property of the Client.

15. Compliance Statement

Any advice, training, or guidance provided by Happy HR is general in nature and is intended to support business improvement and staff development.

You acknowledge that the learning content provided is general in nature and that you, or your executive team, remain solely responsible for all business decisions and outcomes resulting from its use.

Happy HR and its employees will not be liable for any business outcomes arising from the application of the learning content, nor for any additional work outside the agreed scope of services.

You should consider whether the information provided is appropriate for your circumstances and, where necessary, seek independent professional advice from an employment lawyer or qualified training professional.

16. Privacy

We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of your organisation and its employees. Personal information will be handled in accordance with our privacy obligations and applicable privacy laws.

17. Our Obligations and Relationship with You Regarding Anti-Discrimination Laws

Happy HR is committed to complying with all applicable anti-discrimination legislation. We will not discriminate against any employee on the basis of age, breastfeeding, carer or parental status, an irrelevant criminal record, impairment, gender identity, industrial activity, lawful sexual activity, marital status, physical features, political belief or activity, pregnancy, race, religious beliefs or activities, sex, sexual orientation, or personal association with a person possessing any of these protected attributes.

We remind you that discrimination on any of these grounds is unlawful, and we encourage all clients to maintain a workplace that is fair, respectful, and compliant with applicable legislation.
