Position Summary :
This role is part of the Incident Response team and will be responsible for ensuring safe lane availability and incident response to the Brisbane tunnel network.

TNS has a strict pre-employment screening process which includes:

  • Evidence of current licenses, tickets, qualification and certifications
  • Minimum requirement to have a current Drivers Licence and General Construction Industry Card.
  • Provide ID (Passport, Driver Licence or Australian Birth Certificate) to enable us to complete any Australian right to work checks.
  • National Criminal History check.
  • Pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol testing and fitness to drive.
  • Provide a minimum of 2 referees who must be someone you previously reported to attest your work capabilities and character.

Job Responsibility :
As Incident Response Officer, your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Minimise the disruption to traffic in the event of an incident affecting the network safety by providing a safe, rapid and highly effective response.
  • Provide a safe work environment for all TNS personnel engaged in Incident Response Services, all emergency services and other road users
  • Be responsible for the safe, effective and uninterrupted flow of traffic on the network.
  • Effective and economical use of plant and equipment.
  • Operate the network recovery vehicles as necessary to remove disabled vehicles and other obstructions from the road.
  • Implement traffic management of Incident Response and maintenance closures, including temporary traffic management, clean-up, debris removal, breakdowns and other incidents
